Bierkeller beers are exclusively German styles and contain only the four essential ingredients: malt, water, hops, and yeast. Beers include Kölumbianer™, a top-fermenting lager in the Kölsch style; Kellerbier, an unfiltered farmhouse-style lager; Braunbier, a dark Franconian lager; and Rauchbier, a smoked lager in the Bamberg style.
These beers are full-flavored while remaining highly drinkable – a combination Germans refer to as süffig. They are like old friends: unique but familiar…and always refreshing to spend a few hours with.
Kölumbianer (4.8% ABV)
Kölumbianer™ is a top-fermenting lager beer brewed in the Kölsch tradition. It has a crisp, almost white-wine character. The sweet malt is balanced by floral Hallertau hops.
Kellerbier (5.3% ABV)
Kellerbier is an unfiltered Franconian farmhouse-style lager with a bready malt character that is balanced by soft carbonation and clean Perle hops.
Braunbier (5.1% ABV)
Braunbier is an auburn-brown lager that has a slightly toasty maltiness, balanced by a sweet breadiness and earthy, floral German noble hops.
Rauchbier (5.2% ABV)
Rauchbier is a smoky, reddish-brown lager. The smokiness is balanced by spicy Tettnang hops. The more you drink of this beer, the more the smoke integrates – and the more delicious it gets.
